This kit is 600mb of digi goodness!!! Way too much to show in the previews! The best part about it though is that all the proceeds from this kit go to a cause that's near and dear to my heart... Shriner's Hospital in Chicago.
This kit was actually my nine year old daughter Tiana's idea. She loves fish and I was making her a special kit for her to use as she pleased. It only took her a moment to decide that all the money from the sale of the kit should go to Shriners where she's a frequent patient. So that's what we're doing! We put out a call for people to contribute and the awesome digital scrapbooking community answered very loudly!! This awesome kit is the work of many talented designers, and on behalf of the patients, staff, and parents at Shriner's, I can't thank them enough!
All proceeds from this kit will go directly to the Recreational Therapy Department at Shriners and will provide them with much needed toys and craft supplies to keep the children entertained while they're staying at Shriner's.
Just click on the pictures above to be taken to the items in the Creative Dreams store, and to donate to this worthy cause!
I can't announce a kit, especially one as monstrous as this, without giving you a little freebie to taste what's in store! So here you are, a piece of WordArt created especially for Tiana.
A special thank you to Debbie Beckmoore, whose awesome seaweed rickrack added the perfect touch to my sign!
Thanks again to everyone for supporting this cause! It means so much to my family and so many others. I just can't tell you how wonderful it has been to see this outpouring of support. I hope you enjoy this kit as much as we've enjoyed bringing it together for you!

Bethany from Elegant WordArt was kind enough to share her talents with me and make up some beautiful word art pieces that go with my new kit Butterfly Bling.
Have you seen her work? It's incredible! She gives away a freebie on her blog every day, and today she's featuring another piece to match the Bling kit, so go and grab it along with some of her other beautiful freebies! Just to make your life easier, here's a link directly to the Butterfly Bling WordArt: Smiles
She made up three coordinating wordart elements for Butterfly Bling, she's sharing one today, and I have one for you today too!
Stop back in tomorrow for another one! And don't forget to pick up the Butterfly Bling Kit from Benevolent Boutique! Not only will you be indulging your scrapping habit, but you'll also be helping out a beautiful little boy who needs a home!
Thanks again Bethany for sharing your fabulous talent with me. It's so appreciated!
There have been changes here at Creative Dreams over the last week! Did you see them?
There's a new link in the side bar of my blog and on the home page...
It's a link to our very own forum!!! YAY!!!! A new place to hang out, chat, share, and learn!
There are already challenges going on over there, and soon there will be tutorials and classes to spark your creativity! So go check it out, register and pop in to introduce yourself! If you join in on the challenges you'll get some awesome freebies as prizes for participating. There's an awesome kit up right now for participating in the color challenge. I want it so badly, but Rachael won't let me have it unless I complete the challenge. :( LOL
Oh, you probably want the freebie that you know is buried here somewhere. :D Ok, but you have to promise you'll drop in to the forum and say hi once you've downloaded it!
A while back I added some curled CU ribbons to the Creative Dreams store. They're a lot of fun, and recently I was playing with one of them, and made a complete circle out of it. It turned into an awesome frame that I've used in a couple of my recent kits (check out Butterfly Bling).
It's such a neat little frame I thought I'd share it with you!
This is a designer resource so go ahead and use it in your own kits. No credit required, but I'd love to see what you make if you have the chance!
Today I uploaded the first of my personal kits to Benevolent Boutique! I'm so honored to be participating at the BB store, it's so awesome to be able to support the wonderful causes all over the world!
The kit I created is called Butterfly Bling. It's filled with color and glitter, and is just a fun kit to play with.
And here's a better look at those papers. There are 15 in this pack, and 10 of them have glitter accents to make your pages sparkle and shine!
This kit is ONLY available at Benevolent Boutique, and a portion of the proceeds will go to support the Charity of the Month. You can read more about Reece's Rainbow and Andrey, the child we're helping, here: Child of the Month
Awhile back a designer that I respect quite a bit contacted me and asked who designed my web page. Since web and graphic design are what I do when I'm not digi scrapping, I told her that I had created it. She then told me about this idea she had for a digi store, where everything sold would benefit charity, and then she asked if I'd be willing to help her build it.
I have this thing about giving back... Giving back to the community, to the world, giving to anyone who is less fortunate or less able than I am. I like to help people out whenever I can. I've been deeply blessed in my life, and if I can pass those blessings on then I'm even richer for having done it.
So of course I said yes! :)
That designer is Crystal Longbrake from DigiScrapalicious, and the store she built with the mission to help those in need is Benevolent Boutique.
As we worked together to build her store we became friends, and I was so touched and honored when she asked me to be a part of the collaboration team for BB! I respect her and the designers that participate in the collaborations so much, and it really shocked me that she saw that level of professionalism in my designs!
So of course I said yes! :D
I'm really proud to announce the first of many collab kits that I will be participating in on Benevolent Boutique...
All of the proceeds from this kit will go to benefit Reece's Rainbow. We'll be helping a Down Syndrome child find a family to love and care for him. To learn more about Andrey and Reece's Rainbow, just visit this link: Child of the Month Project
To help Andrey and this wonderful charity Just visit Benevolent Boutique and purchase Whimsy and/or the sister kit Wishes, and start digiscrapping for a cause!!!
It's that time again! I just released a new kit in the store called Independence.
This is the perfect kit for scrapping military pages, or those 4th of July pictures. It's chock full of good stuff with 15 papers, and 60 elements for you to play with! You can get it from now until the end of July for 50% off in the Creative Dreams store, just click the link below to go there right away: Independence Kit
If you do your shopping before July 1st you can also get Lakeside and For all Eternity for the special introductory price of 50% off too. The end of the month is always the best time to shop!! :D
Of course I can't release new stuff without giving you a freebie to play with though, right? So just because I love you so much, and because I can't stop designing even though a kit is bursting at the seams (LOL), I've made an add-on pack for Independence that has 5 papers and 6 elements!
If you snag them both you'll end up with a mega sized kit!
We're home! We've actually been home for awhile, but we've been relaxing and trying to de-stress so I've limited my online time.
Tiana ended up not needing the posterior fusion at this time. It's a good thing, but it's also kind of bad because we were looking forward to being done, and now she'll need more surgeries. It's ok though, we'll do what has to be done to keep her healthy for years to come.
I'm going to be sharing some experiences and stories from Shriner's in upcoming posts as we get ready to launch the Ocean Friends Charity kit, so I'm not going to make this a long post today. I just wanted you to know that we're home and Tiana's doing well.
I'll leave you with a homecoming picture... Tiana wants to be a vet when she grows up, which is appropriate because we live in a zoo. So when she got home, the first thing she wanted was her guinea pig Christy who she missed terribly during the three days she was in the hospital. MacDuff, the family cat, couldn't stand to let someone else have all of the love and affection, so he got in on the act too.
This is the big day... We're heading to Shriner's in just a few hours, and I'll be gone from all of my usual haunts for a couple of weeks. Don't miss me too much! :D
Please Keep Tiana in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow if you can.
